Case 7: 2 Cosmetic Composite Veneers and Restorations

Grinding or clenching can result in worn, short teeth. In this case composite was done to lengthen the teeth to provide a much more pleasant smile. The ultimate treatment would be to place porcelain at a time when the patient is able to do so...porcelain would provide a more durable and desirable long term solution. We recommend a sleep time mouthguard for all patients having cosmetic work...particularly if there is a history of grinding or clenching.
