Case 1: 2. Cosmetic Composite Veneers and Restorations
Composite is a terrific material for changing the color and shape of the teeth, particularly in young patients who don't smoke, drink staining fluids, or grind their teeth. Used in the correct cases this material can give years of service to the patient. Composite is a resin with glass particles that is added to the teeth, sculpted, and blended to the tooth surface often without anesthesia. It is a less expensive alternative to porcealin but is more likely to chip, stain, or break than porcelain. Repairs are the patients responsibility after the first 12 months......... We try very hard to make the veneers life-like that even on a very close up view. Look through these photos to see the level of commitment Dr Griffin has to cosmetic detail. We feel our practice offers a level of esthetic services seldom seen in dentistry.
Reason for Undergoing Treatment: Composite can be a very esthetic material if used in the correct cases. In this case, failing fillings were replaced and veneers were done to lighten the teeth and make the color even. The result is a terrific new smile.
