Case 6: 1 Cosmetic Porcelain Veneers and Smile Makeovers
Porcelain restorations were used to correct mis-colored fillings, decay, and mis-aligned teeth. The gum tissues, gingiva, were reshaped with a laser to make them healthier with a higher cosmetic appeal. We often do minor recontouring of the soft tissue to make the final results much greater in our cosmetic cases. In this case the patient showed a large amount of gingia, a gummy smile, and with a small amount of numbing they were shaped with more natural contours. Decay was removed from the teeth and porcelain crowns were done on the front ten upper teeth while tooth colored fillings were done on several lower teeth.
