Case 2: 1 Cosmetic Porcelain Veneers and Smile Makeovers

There is a great interest in "LUMINEERS" which is merely a brand name used by one lab and porcelain manufacturer. There is a great movement to conserve as much natrual tooth structure as possible and to reduce or eliminate the "grinding" on the teeth of the patient which is very important. We are extremely conservative and only remove as much tooth structure as needed to insure a terrific result. While the theory of no or minimal tooth preparation is held by Dr Griffin, depending upon the needs of the patient we choose to use laboratories and porcelains that are unrivaled by other labs....................... This case was done without any real tooth preparation and the teeth were slightly roughened and no temporaries were needed. The gums were recontoured with a laser to provide a more natural tooth symetry.
