Case 14: 1 Cosmetic Porcelain Veneers and Smile Makeovers

In this case, the gum tissue was modified using a laser. Porcelain veneers were made with almost no tooth preparation. Color selection is up to the patient. White teeth are in style today and we try to guide the patient with their choice by showing many other cases we have done and by giving them a "pre-view" before the ceramist make the final restoration. The patient wanted very white veneers that would cover the dark and uneven tooth color, close the space, and replace tooth structure lost to grinding. We make a sleep time only mouth guards for all patients who do cosmetic work in our office. These comfortable, clear, thin guards help to insure long term succes of cosmetic dentistry by protecting the teeth during times of grinding or clenching at night.
